Car Tune Ups or Discount Gasoline?

What has changes in technology in the last 10 years done to car maintenance...car tune ups?

Well it has thrown out the old rules of thumb of "tuning your car up".

Your vehicle driven today can be Front Wheel, Sport Utility, or a Light Truck.

MAINTENANCE TIME has changed from the usual 3,000 between
maintenance to 7,500, 20,000 or even the life of your car!

Severe driving may just be stop & go traffic in town!
High humidity…heavy hauling…where and what maintenance product was bought…
can affect time intervals!

So, what's a driver to do?

Reading your OWNER'S MANUAL is the most important thing you can do,
since your VEHICLE will respond uniquely to your care.

What will "Car Tune Ups" do other than keeping your car running smoothly?
Well, isn't that enough?
True.
But you do save a little, since the engine was not performing as well before the Tune Up?

So with Car Tune Ups how much will you save?

Let's ask my excellent Finnish mechanic Taisto Liski. His answer was:
"1-2%"
With Fuel Injection it would be more.

Which is interesting, if you compare that with the various ways Gasoline can be bought as seen in the Discount Gasoline List.

By putting together, a combination of Fuel savings way,
you may benefit marvelously!

As Taisto said with one word, "mouth."

"Word of mouth" is about the best way!

About SAFETY: The 2 best things are:

1.Best to cover the car.

It protects against the sun
even in cloudy days.

The sun is the number one reason the car paint fades.

Great for SAFETY, since countless times the key was left in the ignition, in the door, or the window open, yet the car was covered!

What kind?

Least expensive, not paper (doesn't last), should not be able to see through.

2.Have a Kill Switch.

Just a simple toggle switch.

With an alarm, make sure the kill switch is still working like a dead bolt if the alarm is disconnected from the battery.

Also try to get a smart alarm, one that will not beep twice to the same disturbance (e.g. trash truck, cat etc.)
